Local pet store says goodbye to selling live
Homes Alive Pet Centre, the Lethbridge-grown pet supply store is making the step not to sell live animals. The shift will allow the store to focus more efforts on customers and their pets, meaning better service and more value.
Last fall, Homes Alive made the bold move to no longer sell live dogs. With the launch of the new campaign, the pet store will cease selling all live animals. Instead, Homes Alive is focusing on promoting animal adoptions and rescues Canada-wide. More than ever, Homes Alive is targeting animal shelters across Canada. The new campaign, dubbed ‘A Home for Every Pet’, focuses on matching needy pets with loving homes.
By freeing up 25–30% more floor space, Homes Alive will be able to offer more selection for pet owners and better service from employees. Pet owners can also expect lower prices and better value.
