Lethbridge NewsLRPS capture escaped prisoner
At approximately 12:17 this afternoon, police responded to a report that a prisoner had walked away from a work detail in the river valley. Responding officers located the male in the river valley approximately an hour and a half later, and he was arrested without incident.
On July 19, Lethbridge Regional Police identified the male as Kyle Matthew Brehmer, 22, of Grande Prairie. He is charged with one count of escaping lawful custody and is scheduled to appear in court July 31.
