Illegally parked vehicles at boat launch ticketed yesterday.
Police are asking for the public’s cooperation in ensuring their vehicles are lawfully parked in the area of the public boat launch and that their vehicles are parked in a manner so as not to interfere with the ability of emergency services vehicles accessing the river bottom and boat launch area, should the need arise. Yesterday, police attended the river bottom and ticketed all of the illegally parked vehicles.
Due to the recent warm weather, there has been an increase in recreational use of the river. Members of the public are asked to consider their personal safety and the safety of their fellow citizens when using the river.
